Loki is a fictional character showing up in American comic books distributed by Marvel Comics. Made by author Stan Lee, scripter Larry Lieber and penciller Jack Kirby, a variant of the character previously showed up in Venus #6 (August 1949). The current manifestation of Loki originally showed up in Journey into Mystery #85 (October 1962). He is the received sibling and frequently the foe of the superhuman Thor. Loki depends on the Norse Deity god of a similar name and is now and again portrayed as an anti-hero.
